New Birth Missionary Baptist Church thinks the rumors about Bishop Eddie Long’s wife Vanessa leaving him are so ridiculous, that it’s spokesperson felt the need to issue a statement and announced a staged “family event.”
The statement, from spokesman Art Franklin, said New Birth and its leadership have chosen not to respond to “rumors,” instead remaining focused on “God’s mission for the ministry.”
In addition to getting all “wild and crazy” for Dazed And Confused Magazine’s “Pop vs. Life” issue, Beyonce allowed the designers who created those looks to pick her brain about the really important matters.

Gareth Pugh: You were born four days after me, which means you’re a Virgo. What Virgo characteristics do you have?
Beyonce: I am a Virgo to the tee! I wonder what signs the other designers are? I like to think outside the box. I don’t believe in the answer ‘no’. I am extremely driven and extremely critical – sometimes overly critical. Sometimes it is one of the things that I have to work on. I am a control freak. I pay attention to details. When I do something I do it 100 per cent. I have high expectations of myself and expect the exact same thing of everyone around me. I’ve always been that way. I am all or nothing.

The New Birth Missionary Baptist Church preacher was accused of having inappropriate sexual relationships with four male parishioners and had embarrassing cell phone pictures hit the mainstream. Instead of going to court to defend himself, Long decided to pay the hefty fee. The number came from an interview with an unnamed source conducted by Redding News Review.
The men are to get $2.8 million each and get paid $400,000 payments incrementally until the whole money is paid in 20 years.
